What is Virtual FOSE?


Government-wide, FOSE is known as the can't miss annual meeting. How does Virtual FOSE work?

To reserve your space, complete your FREE Virtual FOSE registration here (takes only 2 minutes).   Upon completion, you will receive an important confirmation email with important dates, times, login information, and add to calendar links.  Make sure to add Virtual FOSE to your calendar and save this email for future reference. Prior to the event, the Virtual FOSE team will periodically send you important event updates and reminders, including Virtual FOSE's Attendee Guide with everything you need to know to make the most of your Virtual FOSE experience.

On the day of the event (July 21), log into the show using the link provided in your registration confirmation email.  Remember that to participate in Virtual FOSE, you'll need access to a Mac or PC with high speed internet and working speakers/headphones for sound.  For other system requirements, click here. Once you've arrived at the Virtual FOSE campus, navigate your way through the exhibit hall to view video product demonstrations, live chat with company representatives, and fill your virtual showbag with prizes, valuable whitepapers, and product descriptions.  Attend LIVE and on-demand video education sessions and keynote presentations in the virtual auditorium.  And don't forget to network with other attendees and exhibitors in the Networking Lounge or individually chat, email, or exchange vCards with specific attendees and exhibitors of your choice using the Search feature.  For more information about the Virtual FOSE experience, click here.

Do I need special software on my computer to participate?


To interact with the online environment requires a Windows PC with Internet Explorer 6.0 minimum, or Firefox 3.0 to 3.0.19 and 3.6. Mac with Firefox 3.0 to 3.0.19 and 3.6 and Safari 3.1 or higher are also supported. We support Windows XP and Windows Vista on PCs. Leopard, Tiger, and Snow Leopard are supported on Macs. Linux Fedora Core 10 is also supported operating systems. Macromedia Flash Player 10 or higher is required. Access to the internet using high speed access (Cable, DSL, Network) is highly recommended for the overall environment and is required for all presentations. Pop-up blockers must also be disabled and cookies and JavaScript should be enabled.  On entering the show, a system check is run which will identify computer requirements that need to be addressed to interact with the online show. It is recommended to view the environment with the display resolution of 1024 x 768. To run the system check prior to the event, click here.

Before you access the event, you should ensure that your browser is configured to stream media. All webcasts require a broadband connection. For Video events you will need a minimum Internet connection of 750Kbps and above.

What do I need to do before the event?


Complete the online registration form to attend.  Shortly after, you will receive a Virtual FOSE confirmation email with everything you need to know for attending.  Before July 21, run a quick system check on your computer to make sure you have the necessary requirements to successfully participate in Virtual FOSE.  For continual updates and to connect with other attendees before the show, join Virtual FOSE on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and GovLoop.  Finally, plan and map out your personalized schedule before the show to get the most out of your Virtual FOSE experience!


Who should I contact for technical assistance?


Prior to the show, contact support@inxpo.com.  During Virtual FOSE on July 21, visit the Help Desk on the virtual show floor.  There will be on-call representatives to answer all your questions through real-time instant messaging.
